DSM Today helps organizations recruit volunteers more effectively, gain better visibility, and build stronger support from the community through customized mini web pages. What Organizations Are Eligible To Register
These are the types of Greater Des Moines Metro organizations we welcome to register on DSM Today:
Nonprofit and Community Organizations (including NGOs, community clubs and groups, schools and universities, high school and college clubs, unions, foundations, and campaigns)
Government Agencies (including museums, libraries, parks and recreation departments, environmental protection agencies, social services, schools and universities, and community service programs)
Business (including hospices, hospitals, long-term care facilities, corporate volunteer programs, and business volunteer projects)
Affinity Groups (small groups of people who work together autonomously on direct action or other projects. You can form an affinity group with your friends, people from your community, workplace, or organization. Affinity groups can be based on a common ideology, a shared concern for a given issue, or a common activity, role or skill.)
Organizations and groups that promote or glorify hatred, violence or religious or racial intolerance are not eligible to register on DSM Today. DSM Today reserves the right to make the decision as to what organizations constitutes such groups.
